free art supplies

Sometimes in life you are blessed with free art supplies. And the best thank you is to do a picture.

This sketch is of some of my roses in my garden. The haiku goes like this:
Bouquet of roses
volunteers like sweet fragrance
new smiles each day.

haiku & crafting

This weeks Haiku were silly love poems to my boyfriend for Valentine's Day.
I decoupaged an old box & filled it with nine original haiku. Two of which I will share with you-

What do people say about us?
a couple, so cute.
They met at church.

"Have patience." he said.
Oh how sexy
for a man to pay in cash!
(insert doodle of an engagement ring here.)

So what haiku have you been composing or reading lately? Send me your suggestions.

Today I would like to freature

Today I would like to feature an awesome haiku by Kari Anne Roy from her book Haiku Mama

In the winter I read more poetry. But this one demanded a full stop and laugh.

Toddler Lexicon:

"Mommy, my butt is sneezing."

Translate that one fast.
